Fitness Program Director (Health System Specialist)

Facilitate and support development for collaborative community partnerships. Assists with monitoring annual budgets. Assisting with coordinating all aspects of the services and activities developed by this department. Assists in developing grant budgets in accordance with policies and procedures. Coordinates and assists in providing training to SDPI staff and preparing final grant reports. Facilitates and supports data collection and maintains data management systems. Coordinates development of policies regarding diabetes and diabetes prevention and conducts diabetes education and prevention with participants and community members. Fingerprinting, as part of the background investigation process, may be delayed due to COVID-19. All other background investigation procedures will apply. Be advised that your continued employment will require you to complete a fingerprint check within 60 days after notification of return to full operations and successfully obtaining a favorable background investigation. Qualifications:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level in the Federal service obtained in either the private or public sector performing the following type of work and/or tasks:
Experience in planning, finance, implementation and monitoring a health service program, including gathering information to analyze, organize and assess the needs of the program. Experience in managing and supervising in a public health setting. Experience in diabetes treatment and prevention. Experience in Microsoft Word and maintaining accurate data for reports. Experience in communicating both orally and written to a wide audience. Knowledge in principles, practices and standards of care for diabetes health promotion, disease prevention and treatment OR a master's or equivalent graduate degree with course work in health care administration OR two full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree with course work in health care administration OR an LL.B or J.D., if related that included major study with course work in health care administration. You must meet all qualification requirements within 30 days of the closing date of the announcement. Federal employees in the competitive service are also subject to the Time-In-Grade Requirements:
Merit Promotion (status) candidates must have completed one year of service at the next lower grade level. Time-In-Grade provisions do not apply under the Excepted Service Examining Plan (ESEP).

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
