Starts assessments for individuals and takes vital signs (blood pressure, pulse, blood sugar level) and entering monthly attendance into SDPI database. Serves as a role model and promotes disease prevention. Assists SDPI health techs by entering data and filing and assists SDPI team in diabetes and diabetes prevention through community education efforts and activities. Responsible for all housekeeping, janitorial and custodial services at the Okiciyapi Wellness Center such as sweeping, scrubbing, mopping and waxing floors and cleaning and disinfecting restrooms, cleaning all mirrors, windows and doors. Disinfect and clean all exercise equipment and area throughout the day. Sweep, mop and clean including the dishes in the kitchen. Once a month will strip/wax floor and shampoo mat area and removing dirty laundry. To qualify for this position, your resume must state sufficient experience and/or education, to perform the duties of the specific position for which you are applying. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; social). Minimum Qualifications for GS-03:
6 Months of General Experience OR 1 Year of Education above the High School Level with course(s) related to the occupation. General Experience is defined as any type of work that demonstrates the applicant's ability to perform the work of the position, or experience that provided a familiarity with the subject matter or processes of the broad subject area of the occupation. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
