Health Aid
Starts assessments for individuals and takes vital signs (blood pressure, pulse, blood sugar level) and entering monthly attendance into SDPI database. Serves as a role model and promotes disease prevention. Assists SDPI health techs by entering data and filing and assists SDPI team in diabetes and diabetes prevention through community education efforts and activities. Responsible for all housekeeping, janitorial and custodial services at the Okiciyapi Wellness Center such as sweeping, scrubbing, mopping and waxing floors and cleaning and disinfecting restrooms, cleaning all mirrors, windows and doors. Disinfect and clean all exercise equipment and area throughout the day. Sweep, mop and clean including the dishes in the kitchen. Once a month will strip/wax floor and shampoo mat area and removing dirty laundry.
