ASSISTANT DIRECTOR OF PLANS OPERATIONS AND TRAINING (Title 32)

As an ASSISTANT DIRECTOR OF PLANS OPERATIONS AND TRAINING, GS-0301-13, you will:
This position is located in the Joint Force Headquarters (JFHQ) Army National Guard (ARNG) Deputy Chief of Staff for Operations (DCSOPS) G3/5/7 Section. This is an Army National Guard dual status technician position that requires military membership, compatible military skill assignment and classification. The purpose of this position is to serve as the Assistant Director of Plans, Operations and Training. The Assistant Director serves as an alter ego to the Director of Plans, Operations and Training by fully sharing the direction of all phases of the JFHQ-ST G3/5/7 programs which includes the plans, operations, training, readiness and mobilization programs for federal and state missions. NATIONAL GUARD MEMBERSHIP IS REQUIRED:
This is an excepted service position that requires membership in a compatible military assignment in the National Guard. Selectee will be required to wear the military uniform. Acceptance of an excepted service position constitutes concurrence with these requirements as a condition of employment. COMPATIBLE MILITARY ASSIGNMENT:
Selected individual must be assigned to a compatible military position in the following MOS/AOC within 90 days of effective date of hire:
Officer:
01A, 90A, 59A. Military grade inversion within the full-time work force is not permitted. The military grade of the full time supervisor must equal or exceed the military grade of personnel supervised. GENERAL
Experience:
Experience, education, or training which provided a general knowledge of principles of organization, management, and administration. Experience using computer and automation systems. SPECIALIZED
Experience:
Must have at least 36 months experience in the KSAs listed below. Experience, education or training in program or managerial experience in a type of work or a combination of functions directly related to the position to be filled or in comparable work or functions. Experience developing and recommending policy; organizing and carrying out specific programs, evaluating and recommending changes in methods of operations. Experience in supervisory, staff or technical work which included study, analysis or evaluation leading to the development or improvement of managerial or administrative policies, practices and procedures. Experience preparing written communications and oral presentations. Knowledge, Skill, and Abilities (KSAs):

Knowledge of readiness, force management and mobilization in support of ARNG personnel and units assigned in the state. Knowledge of coordination for support of training, operations, and organizational functions in readiness and immediate military response to natural or manmade situations and emergencies. Skill in planning to meet objectives and requirements requiring extensive and complex coordination with a variety of federal, state and local agencies. Knowledge of state National Guard plans, policies, training, operational readiness, force structure, military support requirements, and regulations.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
