SURFACE MAINTENANCE MECHANIC SUPERVISOR

As a Surface Maintenance Mechanic Supervisor, WS-5801-13, you will:
This position is located in the Joint Forces Headquarters-State, Logistics Directorate (J-4), Surface Maintenance Facility. The purpose of this position is to provide overall direction and coordination of subordinate work activities and functions. Work operations involve scope, volume, and complexity that they are carried out by subordinate supervisors in two or more separate organizational segments or groups, and are controlled through one or more levels of supervision. The occupation and non-supervisory grade level which best reflects the nature of the overall work operations supervised is Surface Maintenance Mechanic, WG-5801-10. NATIONAL GUARD MEMBERSHIP IS REQUIRED:
This is an excepted service position that requires membership in a compatible military assignment in the National Guard. Selectee will be required to wear the military uniform. Acceptance of an excepted service position constitutes concurrence with these requirements as a condition of employment. MILITARY REQUIREMENTS:
Selected individual must be assigned to a compatible military position in the following MOS/AOC within 90 days of effective date of hire:
Officer (MAJ and below):
OBR 88A, 90A, 91A, 92A. Warrant Officer (CW3 and above):
WOBR 25, 91, 92, 94; WMOS 882. Military grade inversion within the full-time work force is not permitted. The military grade of the full time supervisor must equal or exceed the military grade of personnel supervised. Candidates must have a valid state driver's license. GENERAL
Experience:
Experience or training which demonstrates that the candidate has the ability to organize assignments for subordinates, estimate material and manpower needed for specific jobs; able to explain manuals and work procedures; and to prepare production records, work records and reports. SPECIALIZED
Experience:
36 months experience in the knowledge, skills and abilities (KSAs) listed below. Experience which demonstrates the ability to plan, direct, and organize work assignments for lower grade personnel. Experience which required the review of work requirements and establish priorities to meet deadlines. Experience that provided knowledge of various lines of work performed by this function. Experience which demonstrates the ability to supervise or the potential to perform such duties as evidenced by the ability to communicate knowledge of general supervisory concepts, and knowledge of shop processes. Experience in adapting existing equipment and techniques to new situations. Knowledge, Skill, and Abilities (KSAs):

- Skill in planning, directing, and organizing work assignments for lower grade personnel. - Skill to supervise or the potential to perform such duties as evidenced by the ability to communicate knowledge of general supervisory concepts, and knowledge of shop processes. - Knowledge of diagnosing, repairing, overhauling, and modifying more complex vehicles, equipment, and more complicated systems. - Skill in applying independent judgment in determining methods and techniques required to solve unusually complex maintenance and repair problems.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
