Our Sales Associates help customers find the gear they need to stay on top of their game, so a passion for sports is necessary. We are currently hiring for positions in our clothing and shoe shops. Job Summary While providing superior customer service, make self accessible to all customers' needs; location, price and use of merchandise. Job Tasks and Responsibilities Provide exceptional customer service by greeting all customers within sales radius. Be knowledgeable to answer questions concerning location, price and use of merchandise. Set up advertising displays or arranges merchandise on tables to promote sales. Stocks shelves, counters or tables with merchandise. Attend require product meetings per Specialty Shop needs. Other duties that may be assigned by supervisor, as needed. Qualifications High School diploma, or General Education Degree (GED), one to three months related experiences or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to perform basic math; perform operations using unites of currency, measurements and understanding percentages. Demonstrates strong communication, organization, attention to detail, and problem solving skills. Be professional in appearance and attitude, contribute to a positive team atmosphere, treat others with respect and consideration while following Scheels' policies and procedures. With or without accommodations, be able to stand, and/or sit, for extended periods of time. Able to reach, balance, climb, walk, kneel, crouch or crawl. Regularly lift or move up to 10 pounds; frequently lift or move up to 25 pounds; and occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds. Work assigned schedule; may include varied hours, evenings, weekends and holidays. Strong oral and written communication skills and light to moderate lifting are required.
