## Description
The Rapid City Journal, a Lee Enterprises newspaper in Rapid City, SD., seeks a motivated and creative candidate to fill an open position on our award-winning photography staff. Daily assignments include news, sports, features and portraits for the newspaper, as well as special projects and special sections. The position also requires some evening and weekend shifts. We are looking for a candidate who will approach every assignment as a creative picture story as we cover diverse communities in South Dakota. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work closely with staff writers and section editors. We are seeking an energetic and enthusiast storyteller who loves to spend time in the community finding interesting people, places and stories. We plan to fill this position as soon as possible.
Qualified candidates will have the following:
Daily newspaper experience required
Bachelor''s degree from a four-year college or university or equivalent combination of education and experience
Skill and competence to write good captions, copy blocks and short stories
Valid driver''s license, good driving record and proof of insurance
Professional, self-motivated and ability to multi task
Multimedia and video experience is a plus
Occasionally travel and work remotely and travel as needed
Excellent organization and communications skills

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
