Details/Requirements Assignment :

Active South Dakota license or IMLC LOQ preferred
Board Certification required
Mostly General Gastroenterology, ERCP a plus
Seeking physicians for 24 hour call and possible outpatient
Patient census inpatient:
average 6-12 new inpatient consults a day, 10-15 patients to round, 6-8 procedures per day Patient census outpatient:
12-18 scopes per day and 8-9 hours per day
Hospitalist admits all patients
Two APP s Monday through Friday, 8am-4pm, one on weekends and holidays
Anesthesia done by CRNA, full anesthesia with anesthesiologist/CRNS team when clinically indicated
Level 2 trauma center
EMR:
EPIC
Note that this service has one of the heaviest alcoholic liver disease and upper GI bleeding workloads in the country. Must be comfortable and confident in performing these interventions.
