Work Schedule:
Monday - Friday day shift. Ability to take calls during on-call rotation with the RN. Vista Care offers a flexible work schedule with the ability to work from home on occasion. Location/Travel:
Position will support programs across Pierre, SD, but could include occasional travel to locations across other areas of SD. Travel of 1-2 days per month could be needed.
Responsibilities:
The LPN will:
Report to the Registered Nurse Provide education to the direct care staff on medication administration, change in condition, nurse delegated tasks, and medical protocols. Provide nursing case management for the people receiving our services to ensure the BEST CARE possible. Complete onsite nursing assessments as needed. Communicate with the local hospital, pharmacy, and/or person's primary care physician as needed. Complete various audits to ensure quality of care to the person receiving services. Complete all necessary documentation. Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations and all other necessary accreditation requirements. Be an active team member in collaboration with the nursing and operations team. Contribute positively and consistent with best practice expectations. General Pre-requisites:
The LPN is required to:
Hold a valid Licensed Practical Nurse license in the state applying or within the compact. Hold a valid driver's license with a good driving record. Ability to write and correspond in a legible manner, operate general office equipment, and maintain technical skills with google. Ability to lift 50 pounds on a regular basis, bend, twist, reach, and stand on a continual basis to meet the needs of the people receiving our services If you are interested in this position, please apply today! The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
