SD License 1 year of nursing experience Previous experience with our types of patients below, including IMC/stepdown and neuro Ability to read/interpret cardiac strips, wound care, line management, drain/tube management, drip titration of below medications Completion of a nursing education program that is approved by a board of nursing BLS ACLS NIHSS Epic - strongly preferred Other details:
Will accept a first-time traveler if greater than 1 year of experience 1st time traveler must have EPIC experience Travelers must live 100 miles away from any facility Patient Types:
Mixed unit with Med/Surg & IMC patients, Pre/post-surgical patients, CVA, seizures, cellulitis, influenza, UTIs, pneumonia, COPD, CHF, renal failure with or without the need for hemodialysis, hepatic failure, gastrointestinal disorders and infections, soft tissue injury and minor fractures, and DVTs. Medication administration, titratable vasoactive drips, TPN/tube feeding, and blood product transfusions, Peripheral IV, Midline, PICC and central line access, chest tubes, nasogastric tubes, drains, and urinary and fecal collection devices, Wound care, telemetry monitored patients, Post neuro-intervention (preferred experience but education and resources are provided per unit if they have not had this patient type) Floating:
Any Adult Inpatient Unit - Med Surg, Ortho/Neuro/Surgical, Heart and Vascular Unit, Oncology, Observation Could be floated within scope of practice and below 2023-24 Flu Documentation Units:
