Must have minimum of 2 years construction experience, be dependable, self-motivated with a clean driving record.

Job Description and Principal Duties:
Performs and completes service work on Pella products in the field while being attentive to customers' belongings.
Problem solves and diagnoses difficult issues in the field.
Replaces glass in windows or doors and installs accessories.
Provides customers with helpful information on the care, operation and maintenance of their Pella products.
Generates and updates all service-related files electronically following a service visit so, if necessary billing or credit can be completed.
Reschedules, if necessary, from the job site to ensure customer satisfaction.
Conducts any necessary follow up service work or communication to bring a resolution and Very Satisfied Customer Service Rating from all Customers.
Performs job site walk-thru Collects customer payments as required.
Identifies needed parts and calls order information in to Service Coordinators.
Loads service vehicle with all necessary parts and equipment and maintains accurate parts inventory.
Assist in training of new Field Service Technicians or employees in other departments.
Monitor vehicle maintenance and schedule routine repairs and maintenance in a timely manner.
Meet company safety requirements by keeping work area neat and clean, following safety precautions and wearing required safety apparel (i.
e.
shoes, safety glasses, fall protection, etc.
) and reporting safety issues to management.
Meet or exceed monthly metric goals, including CSR, quality and productivity goals as established by the Department.
Promote and facilitate continuous improvement activities in the department.
Timely attendance.
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Pleasant, professional, courteous, trustworthy and honest.
A positive attitude and ability to work and communicate well with others, especially dissatisfied customers.
Knowledge and experience in construction skills.
Ability to learn mechanical skills and use hand and powered tools.
Adaptable to daily changing situations.
Computer skills with emphasis on outlook and smart phones.
Be safety conscious.
Ability to travel and stay overnight up to 5 nights in a week.
A valid current driver Dependable and be able to work unsupervised.
Ability to climb ladders and scaffolding.
Able to lift and carry more than 100 pounds.
